Soft Foundation Stabilization Geotextile
1. Product Introduction
Soft foundation stabilization geotextile is high-strength needle-punched polyester nonwoven geosynthetic, including filament and staple fiber types. It is specially used for reinforcing silt, mucky soil, muddy clay and other weak subgrade in road, railway, wharf and landfill projects. When laid on soft ground, it restricts lateral soil displacement, accelerates pore water drainage and improves foundation bearing capacity.
2. Core Functions
Reinforcement & Anti-deformation
High tensile strength bears vertical vehicle load and limits lateral extrusion of soft soil, effectively controlling differential settlement, road surface rutting and embankment sliding.
Separation
Isolates soft muddy base and upper coarse aggregate. Prevent fine soil from mixing into gravel layer to maintain the integrity of road base structure.
Filtration & Drainage
Porous structure allows water outflow while blocking soil particles. Rapidly discharge excess pore water inside soft foundation to speed up soil consolidation and shorten construction period.
Anti-puncture Protection
Buffer sharp gravel and rock fragments during backfilling, avoid tearing damage caused by construction machinery rolling.

6. Construction Points
Clean and level soft foundation surface, remove sharp hard objects.
Lay geotextile flat without excessive stretching, overlap 10–20 cm between rolls.
Fix geotextile edge with U-shaped nails to prevent shifting during filling.
Backfill layered filler and compact step by step, prohibit heavy roller direct rolling on geotextile.
