Fiberglass Reinforced Geogrid
Key Features
1. High tensile strength
Fiberglass itself has extremely high tensile strength, far higher than ordinary plastic geogrids, effectively resisting pavement deformation and cracking.
2. Excellent temperature stability
It can maintain stable performance under high temperature in asphalt paving and low temperature in cold regions, without creep or deformation.
3. Good chemical corrosion resistance
Resistant to acid, alkali, salt, soil microorganisms and other erosion, suitable for various complex geological and environmental conditions.
Fiberglass Reinforced Geogrid is a high-strength geosynthetic material made from fiberglass (glass fiber) as the raw material, woven into a grid structure through a unique warp-knitting or weaving process, and then coated with modified asphalt, polymer or resin for surface treatment. It is mainly used for road reinforcement, pavement anti-cracking, subgrade stabilization and slope reinforcement, and is widely applied in highways, airports, bridges, parking lots and other infrastructure projects.
4. Low elongation
Low elongation at break, can quickly transfer stress and disperse load, improving the overall stability of the road base.
5. Good interlock with soil / asphalt
The grid structure forms a strong mechanical interlock with gravel, soil and asphalt layer, enhancing bonding and integrity.
Ⅱ. Main Applications
Asphalt pavement anti-reflective cracking and reinforcement
Road base and subgrade stabilization
Old road reconstruction and widening
Slope protection and embankment reinforcement
Airport runways, wharfs and hard pavement reinforcement
