Polypropylene Composite Geotextile
Core Performance Indicators
· Mechanical Properties: Tensile strength, tear/puncture resistance, puncture resistance, and grab strength.
· Hydraulic Properties: For impermeable types, an extremely low permeability coefficient is required; for filtration types, the equivalent opening size must be strictly controlled.
· Durability: Resistance to UV radiation, acids and alkalis, and microbial degradation, as well as creep performance.
Polypropylene Composite Geotextile is an integrated material manufactured by bonding a polypropylene-based geotextile (short-fiber/long-filament needle-punched nonwoven, or woven/braided fabric) with other functional geosynthetic layers (such as HDPE/PE geomembranes, geogrids, or drainage nets) through composite processes including thermal lamination, needle-punching, or adhesive bonding. The purpose is to combine multiple functionalities into a single product (e.g., impermeability + protection, reinforcement + filtration, drainage + separation), thereby eliminating the drawbacks associated with installing multiple separate layers.
