Polyester-glass fiber fabric

Core Performance Advantages

1. Crack Resistance and Waterproofing: Low elongation and high instantaneous tensile strength effectively distribute pavement stress and delay the propagation of reflective cracks; excellent heat resistance withstands high temperatures during asphalt mixture paving, forming a continuous, non-deforming waterproof layer that prevents water infiltration and structural damage to the pavement.

2. Weather and Durability Resistance: Strong chemical stability resists corrosion from acids, alkalis, salts, and other chemicals, as well as climatic effects such as temperature fluctuations and ultraviolet exposure, ensuring a long service life.

Product Details

Polyester-glass fiber fabric is a new type of geosynthetic material composed of a composite of glass fibers and polyester fibers. It combines the high strength, heat resistance, and aging resistance of glass fibers with the flexibility of polyester fibers, overcoming the drawbacks of traditional glass fiber materials—such as high brittleness and poor heat resistance—and the insufficient strength of conventional geotextiles at high temperatures. It is a high-quality material widely used in engineering fields such as road construction, water conservancy, and building construction.

3. Environmentally Friendly and Recyclable: During construction milling and planing, the material can be crushed into fine fibers for use in road recycling projects, without adhering to equipment, thus enabling resource recycling and reuse.

4. Strong Adaptability: Excellent flexibility allows it to conform to complex substrate geometries, with good compatibility and strong adhesion to various pavement materials such as asphalt and concrete, minimizing issues such as delamination and wrinkling.

II. Typical Application Scenarios

1. Road Engineering: Crack treatment for major and medium-scale asphalt pavement rehabilitation, asphalt overlay on cement concrete pavements ("white-to-black" conversion), longitudinal joint treatment for road expansion and reconstruction, and shrinkage crack management in semi-rigid base layers, etc.

2. Bridge Engineering: Waterproofing membrane installation on bridge decks.

3. Other Engineering Applications: Municipal road reinforcement, airport runways, tunnel lining drainage, hydraulic engineering applications such as dike reinforcement and channel seepage prevention, as well as building wall reinforcement and roof waterproofing.
