Standard Installation Procedure for Erosion‑Control Cellular Confinement Systems
Standard Installation Procedure for Erosion‑Control Cellular Confinement Systems
Standard Installation Procedure
1. Slope preparation: Trim and level slope surface, remove sharp stones; lay non‑woven geotextile as separation filter layer.
2. Deploy CCS panels: Unfold cellular confinement systems from slope top downwards, fully stretch each panel.
3. Anchoring: Fix with steel anchors at slope top, slope face and slope toe; increase anchor density for steep slope and high‑scour sections; connect adjacent panels by locks or fasteners.
4. Fill cavities:
- Ecological restoration: Backfill improved planting soil, then carry out hydro‑seeding or sow mixed grass‑shrub seeds.
- High‑scour channel sections: Fill gravel or cast thin‑layer concrete for hard‑armor protection.
5. Compaction: Compact infill layer‑by‑layer with small vibratory rammer.
6. Auxiliary facilities: Construct drainage ditches at slope toe to intercept concentrated surface runoff.
