Product Details

Cement Cloth is a revolutionary building material composed of a composite of dry cement mix and flexible fiber fabric, which rapidly hardens upon contact with water to form a durable, thin-layer concrete structure that is strong, waterproof, and fire-resistant, combining construction convenience with engineering durability.

Cement Cloth

Concrete Canvas (CC), also known as "cementitious fabric," is a flexible composite material pre-impregnated with dry mixed cement, structured like a "sandwich":

· Top layer: A wear-resistant, UV-protected polyethylene (PE) woven fabric that provides initial protection;

· Core layer: A three-dimensional fiber matrix uniformly embedded with specialized cement powder, serving as the "heart" of the hydration reaction;

· Bottom layer: A permeable PE or PVC film that retains moisture to promote hydration while preventing cement loss.

To use, simply cut the Concrete Canvas to the required size, lay it in place, and thoroughly water or soak it. Water activates the cement, triggering the hydration process, after which it hardens into shape within 24 hours, forming a concrete layer 5–25 mm thick with a compressive strength of 10–50 MPa, comparable in performance to traditional concrete. Its key features are: soft and foldable before curing, making it easy to transport; strong, durable, and with a service life of over 20 years after curing.

II. Main Applications

Cementitious Matting is particularly suitable for engineering projects with tight timeframes, inaccessible transportation, or ecologically sensitive areas:

1. Emergency Response and Disaster Relief

· Rapid construction of flood embankments and dam reinforcement walls (e.g., flood control in Jiangxi Province in 2020)

· Construction of field hospital foundations or emergency shelters within 24 hours, ensuring the safety of disaster-affected populations

2. Infrastructure Protection

· Slope protection for highways and railways, as well as riverbanks, preventing erosion and soil loss caused by rainfall

· Impermeable hardening of drainage ditches, irrigation canals, and fish pond embankments, enhancing water resource efficiency
