Coastal Road Ecological Revetment (HDPE cellular confinement system)
Coastal Road Ecological Revetment (HDPE cellular confinement system)
1. Project Overview: The coastal embankment suffers severe soil erosion on bank slopes due to heavy rainfall and wave scouring during typhoon seasons. An ecological revetment capable of vegetation restoration is required.
2. Selected Specification: Perforated HDPE geocell (facilitating water infiltration and root penetration), height 100 mm.
3. Construction Scheme: Trim the bank slope → Lay HDPE geocell, backfill with planting soil, and sow salt-tolerant herbs.
4. Engineering Performance: The sediment retention rate reaches 90% in rainy seasons. After vegetation matures, a flexible ecological revetment is formed. It features lower construction cost and better ecological compatibility compared with rigid concrete revetment.
