Honeycomb cellular geomat - Municipal Park Landscape Slope Ecological Restoration
Honeycomb cellular geomat - Municipal Park Landscape Slope Ecological Restoration
1. Project Background
Urban comprehensive park landscape hillside, total area 12,000 ㎡. Slope gradient 10°~20°, planned as sightseeing green belt. Owner required natural appearance, no hard concrete protection.
2. Main Challenges
Gentle undulating terrain, easy surface runoff scouring;
Need good water retention to support ornamental grass and shrubs;
Require flexible material adapting to curved terrain.
3. Selected Material
Green PP Honeycomb Cellular Geomat, thickness 15 mm (landscape light-duty grade).
4. Construction Scheme
Slope finishing → Geomat laying & anchoring → Fill organic planting substrate → Manual seedling planting.
5. Project Outcomes
The open honeycomb structure stores soil moisture and improves seed survival rate.
Green geomat harmonizes with vegetation in early construction stage.
No surface soil loss observed after one year of operation; low daily maintenance workload.
