Alpine Landslide Slope Stabilization Project (Warp-Knitted Polyester Geogrid)
Alpine Landslide Slope Stabilization Project (Warp-Knitted Polyester Geogrid)
Project Overview
This slope stabilization project is located in the Alpine region. The original slope gradient reaches 45°, with an annual creeping displacement of up to 200mm, posing a high landslide risk. In addition, the narrow mountain terrain brings great limitations to on-site construction.
Project Pain Points
The slope suffers continuous soil creep and sliding deformation. Restricted construction space in mountainous areas requires flexible, lightweight and easy-to-install reinforcement materials to adapt to complex working conditions.
Selected Product
Biaxial warp-knitted polyester geogrid (BX100/100kN) with low-creep polyester base material.
Construction Scheme
The slope is excavated and graded in layers. The polyester geogrid is laid horizontally with layered soil backfilling and compaction to form an integral reinforced soil slope system.
Implementation Effect
After 18 months of continuous monitoring, the annual slope displacement is reduced to less than 5mm, completely eliminating landslide risks and realizing long-term mountain slope stability. Compared with the traditional anchor cable reinforcement solution, this scheme greatly reduces the overall project cost.
